Package of 6 clips comes with 12 feet of mylar reflective bird scare tape, but you can attach any length tape. Standard size clips are 25mm (1") to fit standard 25mm (1") diameter railings. If your railings are smaller or larger, measure your railings and choose one of these alternative sizes: 19mm (3/4"), 22mm (7/8"), 32mm (1-1/4"), 38mm (1-1/2") and 44mm (1-3/4").
Use this as a rough guide, depending on your boat design and railing lengths:
15-20 ft boat – 12 clips
25-35ft boat – 18-24 clips
40-50ft boat – 30-36 clips
When mounted to cover railings (two ends attached), please purchase (or use) an additional roll of bird scare tape to cut in custom lengths to fit your railings (available on our website) and the number of clips you'll need to cover all your railings.
